Teaching with Clickers

Written for college professors, this article is a good summary of using clicker technology in the classroom. Dr. Erping Zhu is the coordinator of instructional technology at the Center for Research on Learning and Teaching at the University of Michigan. Good list of references at the bottom of the article.

This is a link to MikeW's blog archive 'clickers'. He has written a couple of posts that may be of interest to you.

Cool Cat Teacher's Technology Picks

One of my favorite EdTech reads is Vickie Davis's blog, CoolCatTeacher. In this post, she shares her 122 favorite application, websites and software, all nicely categorized. Although I don't use an iPhone and am in no hurry to begin, many of her favorites are gadgets that I have used or have meant to use. No hardware here, but still a great starter. Many of the tools she lists are free. CoolCat pays for some things and she tells you why.

CS200 - Education, Technology and the Internet

As I prepare to take this learning journey with my students, I am finding new resources for my work as a facilitator fro bringing technology into the classroom.

The Innovative Educator is a fascinating blog about just that - bringing technology into the classroom. I am now following it via my Blogger news feed, rather than my old school way of bookmarking it in my browser window!
